Repeat Prescriptions
Repeat prescription can be ordered in the following ways:
- Online: via the link below (please ask at reception as a password needs to be issued)

- In person: hand the prescription form to the receptionist, ticking the items you require.
- By post: if you want us to post your prescription back to you please enclose a stamped addressed envelope.
Telephone requests are not allowed, unless there are special circumstances, as serious mistakes occur.
Please allow 72 hours, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed. Postal requests will require longer.
Though we ask you to allow 72 hours it is usually easier if you order a week before you need you prescription.
The NHS App lets you book GP appointments, order repeat prescriptions and access a range of other healthcare services.

Electronic Prescription Service
We also offer the Electronic Prescription Service, which allows you to choose or "nominate" a pharmacy to get your medicines or appliances from. Your GP then sends your prescription electronically to the place you nominated. this means:
If you collect your repeat prescriptions from your GP you will not have to visit your GP practice to pick up your paper prescription, saving time.
You will have more choice about where to get your medicines from because they can be collected from a pharmacy near to where you live, work or shop.
You may not have to wait as long as your repeat prescriptions could be prepared before you arrive.

Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner, practice nurse or clinical pharmacist at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
